We offer the following services by appointment:

Antenatal, Asthma and Chronic Bronchitis, Child
Health, Coronary Heart, Diabetes, Dietician, Minor
Surgery, Over 75, Well Woman, Smoking Cessation,
Travel Clinic and a Benefits Advice session.
Well Woman services
We recommend that most women have a smear every
three years. These can be done by any GP or by the
specially trained practice nurses in their
appointments.
Family Planning
All the doctors are trained to discuss all forms
of contraception although caps, diaphragms and IUD
(coils) are usually done by Dr Otty. Implants are inserted and removed by Dr's Otty
and Seyfollahi. We have specially
trained family planning nurses. Free condoms are
available on request from the doctors or nurses.
Screening for sexual health disease is available on
request.
Sexual Health Screening
We offer the following services

Screening for sexually
transmitted infections e.g. chlamydia, Gonorrhoea
for men and women.

Testing for HIV infection

"morning after pill")

Free condoms
We are involved in the National Chlamydia
screening programme for those under 25 years.
Please note that all consultations are
CONFIDENTIAL and this includes patients under the age
of 16 years.

or Nurse.
Minor surgery
Drs Marsh and Humphrey offer a range of minor
surgical procedures. Please book an appointment to
discuss this with the doctor. A number of doctors
offer joint injections for various conditions,
please contact reception for further information.
Child Health
Clinics are run jointly with the health visitors,
Tuesdays and Thursdays 11.00am – 12.30.
Immunisations are done by the practice nurse
either in the child health clinic or in the
treatment room.
Counselling
Counselling is available from one of the
counsellors who run regular sessions at the surgery.
If you think you would benefit from this
service please make an appointment with one of the
doctors who will assess your suitability and arrange
a referral if appropriate.
Travel vaccinations
You will be called back by a nurse who will
discuss your travel itinerary with you. You may be
booked an appointment in a special clinic. We cannot
see you in the treatment room for travel advice due
to time constraints.
Alcohol, drug, and personal
problems
All the doctors are interested in these important
problems. Please do not hesitate to make an
appointment to discuss them.
